Its nice... and funny... there was one quote inside that ad which goes something like this,

"Little imperfections that make them perfect for you"

I actually came up with a similar quote before(not bragging)

Because i felt... being perfect is boring, the only way one have a purpose to live is to strive for perfection...

A very good example would be love i guessed... nothing is perfect even love, i dun believe any couples who are truly in love would have lived through their relationship without any fights or quarrel, its this fight a quarrels that help make them stronger, all this imperfections are the perfections.... Right ?

Objectives

Hair for Hope is an event, which invites members of the public to shave their heads to show their support for children with cancer. Through this symbolic gesture, we aim to:

• Create awareness of childhood cancer in Singapore.
• Tell every child with cancer and their families that they are not alone in the fight against cancer and that there is nothing wrong about losing hair or being bald
• Raise funds to help children with cancer and their families
• Build a community of support for children with cancer
  

Why Shave Heads?

Patients’ hair loss, from treatments of cancer such as chemotherapy, is a representation of his or her courageous fight against cancer. Through the symbolic gesture of shaving our heads, we hope to lend moral support to all children with cancer, and to let them know that there is nothing wrong with being bald.

Alright... Started my day pretty well today... had lunch with 2 of my ex classmates from sem 1...

been a long time since we ate together... had fun

Then we went off doing the RFID tagging for the busses... yawnz... pretty soon go back liaoo...
Haha went to BK and slack damn long b4 heading back....

Okay.. I'm in the mood of writing today, after recent coversation with a certian friend, the conversation sparked me to came up with another quote, perhaps similars quotes might exist already.. but nonetheless here it is...

we often go about telling people what to do, but lets think back... how many times had we taken in what people say... most of the time when we are angry we would just switch off and go about ignoring them...

so next time when we get angry at people giving advice, just take a breath and think back... does what he says make sense ? you can don't do what he or she says but just give him a chance to talk....

end of the day he/she still meant well to you... 忠言逆耳 good advice are often hard to go down with... so says the chinese saying...

tis goes out to advice givers also... next time if give advices to ppl and they got pissed ... just remember its nothing wrong with that...

Lesson Learnt From Spraining Your Little Pinky Finger....

Haha... back to my same old stuffz again... right take a look at my finger... swollen like dunnoe wat... if pigs had fingers i think it will look like it... haha

okay wat has tis got to do ?? yeah .. ? actually everything.. upon injuring my finger, i thought since it was the left hand and the smallest pinky finger which i would never use expect when im digging my ear or nose wahaha... i thought i would get much affected by it... but apparently i was wrong...

I couldn't do the things i was used to do, like clenching my fist, even when carrying stuff it affected me. My hand couldn't apply the force it use to has...

Okay.. moral of the story... Never underestimate the littlest player(thing) in a team, a small flaw in a big system could prove to be very destructive... so next time you ever try to look down on something small, think again... it might prove to be a key player to the system....

My Theory On Fate....

Okay... A quote that i written a long time ago goes like this... Destiny: It is the path you have taken, every step that you have chosen to take in every direction.

I believe each decision you make in life, good or bad will lead you somewhere, lets say the orange dot, is the start of your life, you make a decision and you will end up on either next 2 Green dot, after a certain period of time, you need to make another decision again... and you will lead you somewhere, finally you will reach you "Fate" which is the end lines (Blue Dots).

But you are able to go either way, even if you wanted to end at the top left of the picture, you decisions are sending you right -->, there's always time to turn back.

They say God* has already made plans for us all, maybe ... but I feel that what God* did was sent us our choices, we hold the key to our own fate, every decision, every turn in life we make we are choosing our own fate, our destiny....

Everything happens for a reason, life is but a test, but your not judge by how fast you reach you destination, but also many many times you can turn back from a mistake and right your wrongs....

Okay … I watched Evan Almighty recently… then I read a review about it, the review said something about it being to unfunny and the worst thing about the show is when you actually find out about A.R.K meant Act of random kindness.

I personally find it quite funny overall maybe because I’m quite easily entertained maybe not, but I do feel that it really true what they said about changing the world.

For those of you that watched “Pay It Forward” you will find the storyline here a bit similar, for those of you who didn’t….

Pay It Forward is about a little boy’s “project” that he started, the idea of this project is to I do a good deed, in hope that the person that received it will do it to another. But sadly the little boy died before he could see the product of his project…

Evan Almighty Change the world?? = Acts of random kindness

Okay… it sounds cheesy and weird .. but have you ever thought of it… ??

I feel is quite true… how many times have someone you don’t know help you along the way.. brighten up your day.. then you feel more happy, and maybe who knows your happiness spreads to someone you know then they feel happy, humans though we keep a distance.. but we are all interlinked through a bond that we don’t see..

Nobody is asking you to save someone’s life by jumping into a river, although if you really see someone drowning try to help, without endangering your life ….

Start with the simplest of things, see your neighbor that you know, say hi, or good morning… give up a seat to in the mrt or bus to someone that needs it more, smile to the bus driver, when you board the bus,

All this seemingly small acts of kindness might light up someone’s day, then they might even pass it on, who knows how much people you would have influence by the end of the day.

We should set an good example for the children in our society, I seen kids without the basic courtesy to say thank you, as they say in an Chinese saying, “You feed but don’t teach, is the fault of the dad.” “You teach but, they don’t learn, is the teachers fault” some kids I seen can even cut bus queues in school uniform. Who’s fault is it ? lets reflect ourselves in hope we can find the answer… But I have seen some kids that are very courteous and polite the mum that brought them out also show the same attributes… so be careful what you do around kids cos you never know how you would influence them.

Ok... today lesson, "How to get better customer service" okay this is from at least what i think, cos i worked in a customer service line ok... how to get a better customer service, first be a better customer... haha you might think is lame... but is the truth... we are all human beings, we all need our fair share of respect, not very one who serves you can take shit all day and still be able to smlie back at you.



Humans wants respect if you respect them they will treat you back with the same respect, ask yourself this question, do you think you will react to a person who is smiling at you and talking to you nicely better or someone who just shouted at you for no reason. The choice is obvious isn't it ?

So next time when you apporach a person that is serving you smile and say hi , hello or even wassup.... no harm to that, then remember to speak clearly for what you need, he will be happy to help you, then after that remember to say thank you, or even thanx man is good enough for me.

Yes you might think "HEY IM PAYING FOR THEIR SALARY" yes you are but are you paying for their dignity ? pride ? respect ? if someone treat you as bad would you want to treat him good ? Remember what goes around come around.
